WARNING: Meeting someone you met from this forum

Going to meet people that you have met online can be dangerous, especially if you are a minor. If you are PMed or e-mailed by an individual from this forum requesting to meet you in person, please follow these safety rules to avoid ending up on the 10 o'clock news on WKRN:

Never go alone. A lone person is 10 times more likely to be kidnapped than someone with a friend.
Meet in a public place, such as a restaurant or a community event.
Take a cell phone. Even if you take a friend with you, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Tell someone else where you're going and what time you'll be back.
